Michael Vaulin specializes in medical 3D visualization, design, photography, videography, and multimedia
Since 2003, while working at the S.N. Fedorov National Medical Research Center for Eye Microsurgery, pioneered the development and routine implementation of a highly detailed 3D model of the human eye—the first of its kind in Russia. This innovative solution powers the creation of animated films that accelerate the training of young professionals, showcase cutting-edge technologies and methodologies within the medical community, and vividly convey complex information to patients in an accessible way. Presentations featuring these films elevated the branch's standards, and subsequently propelled the entire Federal Center for Eye Microsurgery to global prominence in the quality of visual storytelling in scientific reports. This achievement is underscored by a series of top-tier awards won by the center's experts at international congresses, including ASCRS, ESCRS, SOE, and others.
