Since 2003, while working at the S.N. Fedorov Federal Center for Eye Microsurgery, I was the first in Russia to develop and routinely implement a detailed 3D eye model. This solution is used to create animated films, allowing for faster training of young specialists, demonstrating new technologies and approaches in professional settings, and visually communicating information to patients.
Presentations using these films elevated the branch, and later the main center, of the S.N. Fedorov Federal Center for Eye Microsurgery to a world-class level in the quality of visual presentations, as evidenced by several top awards received by the center's specialists at Russian and international congresses, such as ASCRS, ESCRS, SOE, and others.
My subsequent career in 3D graphics was marked by the creation of the Medicine3D medical imaging studio and the transition to freelance, which allowed for more flexible workflows and expanded collaboration far beyond one clinic, giving access to world-class ophthalmology graphics for more clients. Today, my clients include leading surgeons and ophthalmology centers, medical equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and professional publishers.
